Marriage

God created man and woman out of love and calls them to share that love in a lifelong covenant. In the Sacrament of Matrimony, a man and a woman are united in an unbreakable bond that reflects Christ's faithful love for His Church. Through this sacrament, they receive the grace to love one another selflessly, remain faithful throughout their lives, and grow together in holiness.

Christian marriage also reflects the communion of the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and is a visible sign of God's love in the world. Rooted in mutual consent and lifelong commitment, marriage is a sacred vocation that is open to the gift of life and the building up of the family.

Marriage at St. Margaret Mary Parish

• Couples wishing to be married at St. Margaret Mary Parish should contact the parish office 6 months to 1 year in advance of their desired wedding date to begin the marriage preparation process.
• Weddings are not celebrated on Sundays.
