Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Must be mandated by the Diocese to serve.
Extraordinary Ministers assist the priest in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass when there are many communicants. Some also bring Holy Communion to parishioners who are sick, homebound or in nursing homes, keeping them connected to the life of our parish.
This ministry calls for reverence, prayerful preparation and a deep love for the Eucharist. Extraordinary Ministers are confirmed, practicing Catholics who complete the required diocesan formation and are commissioned to serve. To learn more, please contact our coordinator.
